The customer reported that they were unable to fully close a number of windows at the property. There was also draft coming through the windows because of this.

Upon inspection, our engineers diagnosed issues with the old aluminium Double glazed window friction stays. The windows frictions stays were very old and worn. This meant they were not functioning properly and allowing the window to fully close. Each of the windows would require a new pair of friction stays to be fitted. This would allow the window to function properly again and close fully.

Our client required that we install friction stays with restrictors for safety reasons.

Although DWLG carries some parts on board the van, it is not possible to carry all parts. DWLG measured up for the friction stays. It was discovered that DWLG would have to make a trip to our supplier. After we collect the correct size friction stays from our supplier. DWLG return back to the property a short time later with the correct part and install the new friction stays.
